Magic Kingdom: I don't care how old you are or if you have kids, this park should be a must for every Disney trip. It is wonderful. I promise to make a post later dedicated to the rides, character, and such later.
Epcot: I personally love this park however, it does not provide as much excitement for children as Magic Kingdom. I didn't like it until I was older, but it is great for adults and anyone eager to learn about different cultures.
Hollywood Studios: I can honestly say, I haven't been there in a long time. My family sticks to Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. I did enjoy the times I was there, but cannot say how the new rides are, but I would say from memory it is a nice easy, short park.
Animal Kingdom: We love Animal Kingdom, but it is super hot there. Pack lots of sunscreen, hats, and make your kids where clothes with sleeves because the sun pounds you there.
Typhoon Lagoon: I love Typhoon Lagoon. The wavepool is wonderful for older kids along with many of the water slides.
Blizzard Beach: The wavepool is not as good as Typhoon Lagoon, but if you prefer water slides this is the park for you. My family and I spend most of our waterpark time in the wavepool and lazy river so that's why Typhoon Lagoon is my favorite.
Downtown Disney: This place is an understatement. There's no characters here or rides really, but it is nice to do when you first arrive because it is a relaxing evening activity. There's a Lego store and we actually spent most of our time on the boat rides.
